Swanton Morley Parish Council

Grant Scheme

The Parish Council runs a Grant Scheme for local groups. This is funded by the sale of land on Town Street on which the old village hall (which was previously the village school) once stood. In a state of disrepair, this hall was demolished in December of 2007 and was sold to a developer to build two starter homes. The net profit from this sale which was the opening balance of the grant scheme was £136,761.50

The Grant Scheme is for the benefit of the people of Swanton Morley and is for Capital Projects for village groups to be created and enhanced. If your group has a capital project that it would like the Parish council to consider assistance with funding, please download an application form and the terms and conditions.
